We’re home!!!

After weeks of 13/14 hour days driving, dust, wind, cold, heat, breakdowns, floods and whatnots, we’ve finally arrived back home to a very warm welcome from everyone. Phew! The old girl only just made it!!!

We came home via the Nullarbor, and on the way we came across this Dutch couple who have been driving a 1915 T Model Ford… around the world! They’re on their last continent now, Australia. Wowee! Mind you they have been doing it in stages, since 2012, and go back to Holland after each leg to recuperate, before setting off again the following year. Still, what an amazing journey (they DO have a support vehicle traveling with them, unlike us).

Anyway, we were determined to make it back by 9:30am today, and we did! Prime 7 News were waiting for us, camera at the ready, and I had a couple of radio interviews to do right after we arrived.
