One of my favourite speaking opportunities is talking to high school students and hopefully (!) helping them make the most of their final years at school. I consider myself fortunate to have been invited to do quite a few of them over the years in Secondary Colleges around my area, and I’m really looking forward to Monday when I’ll be speaking to 200 year 12 students in Wodonga. I always try and cover a number of important topics, like attitude, opportunity, goal setting, responsibility and investing in yourself.

Just this week I had a young guy contact me via LinkedIn to tell me how he heard me years ago at one of these school talks. He took on some of my words and was motivated into setting up his own business when he left school, rather than focusing on his poor report card. He is doing brilliantly!

…and I couldn’t be happier!
